October, 2003 The Detroit Free Press runs an article on October 9th by Mark Phelan titled Audi RS6: Civilized, until you hit the gas where Torsen is mentioned.
September, 2003 Toyoda Machine Works Ltd. purchases the worldwide Torsen division from Robert Bosch / Zexel Corporation.
The First Drive section in the September issue of Road & Track has a great little article on the SSR.  The article, on page 42 of the magazine, mentions Torsen in the second column.
First commercials for the '04 Toyota 4Runner and its standard Torsen differential air on the major broadcasting companies.
August, 2003 Read about Robert Bosch Automotive's sale of Zexel's Torsen division to Toyoda Machine Works and Torsen's venture into the Chevy's new SSR.  Check out the article in the digital edition of the local Rochester newspaper at Democrat and Chronicle. (This article will appear in the Past Week's business news after its initial posting on August 1st)
AutoWeek's magazine segment, Decent Exposure, features Ford's new FR100 with a mention of their use of Torsen for the rear axle.  The segment can be found on pages 26 and 27 of the magazine or on the autoweek website.
April, 2003 The new Audi Pikes Peak, featured in the April issue of AutoWeek's magazine mentions on page 18 that Audi's new vehicle carries over the same powertrain like the one in the A8!  A good reading article on the Pikes Peak with a brief section on Torsen. 
February, 2003 2003 Four Wheeler of the Year evaluation, run by Four Wheeler  magazine and starting on page 47, captures their likes and dislikes on seven different sport utility vehicles.  You can read about these vehicles and how the Torsen equipped SUVs placed 1st and 3rd in their overall evaluations.
Petersen's 4Wheel & Off-Road magazine captures the top contenders in their evaluation of the 4X4 of the Year.  Three Torsen equipped vehicles did well in the stiff competition with the Lexus GX470 capturing high honors in a majority of the categories.  Check out the article starting on page 47, with a comprehensive scorecard on pages 74 and 75!
December, 2002 Preview article on page 91 showcases the Lexus GX470 in Car and Driver magazine.
November, 2002 Online article in Popular Mechanics, New-Car Reports From Around The World showcases the new Toyota 4Runner '03 that comes equipped with a Torsen center differential.
November, 2001 MTX75 (26 spline) T-2 aftermarket differential for the Ford Focus shipped to Ford Racing Performance Parts (FRPP) for availability.
October, 2001

Two TORSEN equipped Ford Rangers competed in the Best-in-the-Desert series race from Las Vegas to Reno.  Rob MacCachren's truck finished first in its class and the LA County Sheriff's Department placed.  A great showing for Torsen and great victories for the drivers!

May, 2001 The May issue of Motor Trend mentions the center Torsen differential in its article on the Audi A6 2.7T starting on page 46 of the magazine. 
April, 2001 Pahrump, NV – Rob MacCachren, in a Torsen equipped Ford Ranger Edge, scored his first class victory in a Best-In-The-Desert series off road race.  This was the first event of the season, the Terrible’s Town 250.  It was also the first time Rob had the benefit of Torsen Traction in his truck.  Way to go Rob!
